Jake informed me that today is Creative Ice Cream Flavor Day. Well, we weren't too creative in that we just simply added strawberries from our garden. However, it was unique in the fact that we made individual servings in a bag, something that is on our Summer Fun List.
We put the first 3 ingredients plus a few strawberries from our garden in a bag and then that bag in another sandwich size bag. We didn't want to risk getting salt in the ice cream. Then we filled a gallon size bag 1/2 full with ice and added 6 Tablespoons of salt.

Then we started shaking.
It took more shaking than the kids were interested in doing.
The end result was tasty though.
It was a fun experiment and they were certainly proud of their treats.
