Letter A Dessert

Trey has been wanting to make this dessert for months.
He came up with the idea entirely on his own.

Ingredients:
Chocolate (almond bark)
Pretzel rods
M&Ms (we used mini)

Melt the chocolate and cover most of the rod with it to avoid a gigantic mess when making and eating them.

Place on parchment paper to make a letter A.  There is no special reason for this letter, just what he wanted to do.  Break a pretzel rod so that you can use it for the short piece in the middle.  Put M&Ms on the chocolate.

Put little brother in charge of the mini M&Ms with strict instructions not to eat them.

Make an A for each person in your family.

Keep an eye on brothers to make sure they are following the instructions and not eating the M&Ms.

When you've completed an A for each person, use up the remaining chocolate on individual rods.  Let it slightly harden before adding M&Ms to these because they will slide down the sides.

Wait until after supper to eat because these are a dessert (and need to harden).

Yummy!

This was so very simple once I remembered to pick up the ingredients at the store.  Trey was beyond thrilled to be in charge in the kitchen and create his masterpiece.
