IP Chicken Noodle Soup

Another easy, quick, tastes like its been simmering longer than it has recipe. 

Chicken Noodle Soup in the Instant Pot.

 

Ingredients:

2 Tablespoons butter

1/2 onion, diced

1/4 teaspoon minced garlic

Carrots, diced (just eyeball how many)

2 cups or so of cooked chicken, mine was leftover in the freezer and not quite 2 cups

7 cups chicken broth or the equivalent with chicken bullion

8 ounces noodles, I've been using the twisted kind in the picture (I don't know the name)

1 teaspoon oregano

salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions:

Put first 4 ingredients in Instant Pot on sauté for 4-5 minutes.

Add chicken, broth and noodles.

Put on lid, change to manual and set time for 1/2 time to cook noodles.

Quick Release

Add oregano, salt and pepper.

 

Serve hot with crackers.
